Courseware made with Apple's Hypercard and Adobe Flash to practice Japanese, Korean and Chinese vocabulary.

While is was writing my master thesis at Leiden University I thought that it might be more interesting for me to start writing courseware myself instead of writing academically correct materials. I wanted to put my hands in de mud so to say.

The first version was a Hypercard stack called eFlash which saw the light while I was working at Gakugei University. Once I got back to Leiden University in 1998 I wrote a second version using Hypercard 2.4 and included visual and audio support.

In 2002 it was decided that @Random should become a web application so more people could use it.

Further development had stopped, because I am writing something similar but much better. Wait and see!

For the time being the original @Random Flash version is available here for those who know Dutch.
