Project Summary

During the preparations of the Japanese-Dutch Dictionary project, me and Hetty Geerdink came to the conclusion that if we want to make this project a success, we need to find a way to manage all the data and participants in the project in one place, on-line 24 hours a day. It did not take us very long to realise that if such a system would exist we would not be able to pay for it. So that is why I started developing in 2008 my own Lemmata Management System called Dictionist with input from Hetty. In 7 months time we created an application which manages the workflow for the authors, editors and chief editors, handles all the payments to the partipants and leaves room for editing and growth of the data.
